Your soul was made for mine by C.L. Hunter

First off I'd like to say that I absolutely adore this book. I believe it will be one of those books that I will read again and again.

When I started this book, I had certain expectations because on the book description, it is mentioned that this is a good book for fans of Fifty Shades of Grey. Because of those expectations I was a bit confused in the beginning because it was nothing like Fifty Shades and as a huge fan of Fifty Shades, I was a bit disappointed. Somehow the book had a grip on me however, so I kept going. And it was worth it.
I now see the similarities between this book and the Fifty Shades series but still they are completely different.
The plot in this book is marvelous and mysterious and beautiful. I like how none of the problems the characters face have to do with their relationship. It always goes strong and you truly get the feeling that they are made for each other. There are also some major plot twists and that ensures that you never get bored. I literally did not want to put the book down, it was just so beautiful.
The characters, especially Nolan and Emmalyn, are both complicated truly interesting. They deserve their happy ending. And I truly could not be happier for them.
Additionally, I liked how religion, their beliefs and and faith was also brought into this book. I'm not big on religion myself but I think it truly belong in this book and it somehow made this book better.
And when it comes to the similarities between this book and Fifty Shades of Grey series, I think the relationship between the main characters is similar to each other, but this book is not as focused on the erotic bit. I mean there is a lot of sex, and it belongs in this book but from the very beginning, the relationship between Emmalyn and Nolan was about so much more than just sex. In fact, love was there before they ever had sex and that is one of my favorite bits about this book.
This is and will be one of my all time favorite books and I can't wait to read more and to read the stories of the other characters of this book.

Killing it by Asia Mackay

When I first got this book, there was some expectations that I had and it turned out to be good.

The plot itself, is constantly moving and it kept surprising me with sudden and really unexpected plot twists and there were things happening I did not think would actually happen. This makes the book really interesting to read.
Additionally, the writing style of the book makes the book easy to read as although the topic is very serious and manly and there’s a lot of action, there is still a bit of humor in it, which makes the book a lot lighter to read.

Another thing that makes the book this good, is the complex characters. The main character, Lex, is in her own league and the issues she has to work through make the book more complex and more interesting. Of course, at the end, it was really hard to work out who the bad guys are and who the good guys are so this, I think give the book a bit of edge to it. And, one of the big characters is a baby. Babies make everything better, even books.

All in all, this book was great to read and I enjoyed it a lot.

Alix by Virginia Hunter

Alix by Virginia Hunter was a nice quick read that kind of pulled you in and didn’t let you out until the end. This book is the first book in The Coven’s Grove Chronicles.
Alix has a gift and she has no idea why. Then people start chasing her and she runs with the hot, sexy Troy who she accidentally gave some special powers.
The story is really quick paced so there’s really no chance to get bored with it. Mostly the book is full of action and adventure and danger but I like that there is still a romantic side to the story as well.
The characters are interesting and although a lot of them get killed, Troy and Alix stay strong and they relationship manages to grow. I think this book series will be very interesting to read and you can’t really get the full picture by reading this one book but you have to continue with the series and that is what I’m planning to do.
All in all, this book was a nice quick read and I really enjoyed it.

The girl in the green silk gown by Seanan McGuire

This is a ghost story but it’s also so much more than just a ghost story.
Meet Rose Marshall, the girl in the green silk gown, the phantom prom date and so on. She’s a hitchhiking ghost.
Add the person who already killed her once and want to kill her again and you’ve got a prober adventure in your hands.
This book is amazing, the book pulls you in from the first words and keeps you in until the very last period. I loved every second if this book.
Add all the amazing characters and you’ve got a marvelous novel in your hand that just hooks you in.
The author also manages to include a a lot of Greek and other types of mythology into the book and that makes the book even more interesting than it already is, and somehow more realistic, as much as a fantasy book can feel realistic.
All in all, this book is amazing and my only regret is not reading the first book in the series.
I recommend this book from the very bottom of my heart.
